May 6th-

What's up. Right now we're trying to sell as many tickets for our upcoming shows as humanly possible. The tickets for our show at Empress Ballroom in Danbury, CT. with Matchbook Romance and Keepsake are 12$ but if you get them off of us they are only 10$. We're also selling tickets for Club Crannel on May 15th with The Early November from Drive Thru Records, Count the Stars, and Hidden in Plain View who were also just signed to Drive Thru Records. Buy tickets for any one of our shows off of us through the website and we'll throw in a mix of songs off of the new album, including the newer material we've recently recorded. Buy merch and listen to Mp3's!

April 24th-

Hey, we recently played with Endor, and Days Away. Quite an amazing show. Special thanks to the guitar tech John from Longspur for lending Dan a guitar. Don't forget about May 15th with Count the Stars, and The early November at Club Crannel street. Merch is now going on sale, the shirts are only going to be 7$ now, and if you order merch through the website, we'll throw in a free demo of five unreleased songs that will be on our album. Thanks a lot.

April 20th-

Happy Easter. We've just booked an extremely short noticed show at Club Static with Days Away and Endor. Endor is fronted by Nate Barcalow, Finch's lead singer's, brother. Even though its some what of a school night for many people, it'd be great to see some faces. We're just going to try to make the best of the show, peace out.

April 13th-

What's up...we've added a few new shows to the shows page. May should be a pretty eventful month for us. We're excited to be playing with Matchbook Romance at Empress Ballroom. It's going to be a fun show. We should be updating the mp3.com page because the second two tracks are becoming more and more outdated. Check us out at a show near you...

April 5th-

Hey. Lately, we've been writing a lot of new material, basically changing things up a little bit. Our show at Club Crannel for may 6th with River City High was mis-booked so now we're not playing that show and instead we're going to be playing with The Early November on May 15th. Well, thats all....

March 23rd-

What's up? We just played Club Culture on the 21st, the show was pretty low key but everything went good. We premiered a few new songs and we ended improvising parts of them but they still came together nicely. Catch our show at Club Crannel with River City High on May 6th at Club Crannel, buy tickets off of us. That seems like its about it...see ya.

March 11th-

Hey, another update of the same old news, we played a small party gig at Frank of My Safe Haven's house with them and Apathy Season, it was a lot of fun, then we just hit the studio for nearly a full day yesterday, things are coming along really well and all thats left is one more song that we just wrote recently and an acoustic track. As for shows, we're scheduled to play Club Culture on 21st but we're not sure if it's going to happen, however, we'll def. be playing a few shows in the Poughkeepsie area soon. That's about it, ttyl...

March 3rd-

Hey, awesome news, our search for a new guitarist has finally come to an end. Welcome Dan. Right now our schedule is being re-filled. A show at the Maxx in New Milford is very likely to happen near the end of the month some time. We're also going to have a pro website up soon. We're writing a lot of new music as well. Later...

February 9th-

Hey, good news, we finally got a brand new song off of our album onto our Mp3.com page. Head over there and check it out. It's one of our newest songs and it's a little different than our normal stuff. As for the auditions for a new guitarist/bassist, we're probably jamming with a few people within the next week and we'll have to see how that goes. Again, if you're interested in joining just e-mail xASCx@aol.com or music@asc.freewebspace.com. That's all for now, catch ya later.

January 31st-

Well, as many of you already have heard, Alex has left the band. The departure was pretty mutual and we'd like to wish him the best of luck with all of his future music ventures. We're going to try something different, Jay's going to move from bass to the guitar because we feel finding a bass player will be easier than finding a guitarist. So the hunt for a fourth member of ASC still continues. Again, if you or anyone you know is interested in trying out on bass or the guitar just e-mail xASCx@aol.com.Our album is just about done but we're still writing more music for some strange reason, well, anyway we'll talk to you later.

January 8th-

Hey, hmm, for those who havn't heard the news yet, our show scheduled at the Maxx in New Milford for Saturday January 11th has been moved off a week to the 18th. It's ASC, the Model Citizens, U.S. Riot, and one more band. Other than that, we have a rough copy of our album, it's yet to be mixed but we want to put one of the songs on our Mp3.com page just to give you a taste of our newer stuff, it's a little different, but we're pretty happy with it. New show added, check out the Shows page. Well, talk to you soon.

December 31st-

Back to update the page, sorry that its been a while. We played Club Culture last Friday. Not a bad show, Friendly Fire was awesome, Next II Nothing, as usual, was amazing, and Pro Monroe treated us like shit just like that last time we played with them at the Chance. We've just booked a show at the Maxx in New Milford for January 11th which is in like a week and a half, we don't really know the details, but if you do, go check it out. We wrote 3 songs and got rid of two old ones for the album. It's pretty much finished but it's got to be mixed and mastered first. We'll have new stuff on our mp3.com page soon. As well, we'll have pictures from Club Culture up too. That's probably it for now, see ya.

December 16th-

Well, nestled in the winter's blistering temperatures of Steve's garage, we've written one of two more songs that we're going to throw on the album. Also, in the works, we've got a professional webpage coming your way. So keep an eye out for that. We're working on a handful of shows right now to re-fill our schedule. We've just received word that Next II Nothing and Pro Monroe have been booked to play with us at our show at Club Culture on the 27th which means it's going to be a sick show. That's about it for now, enjoy the merry season.

November 27th-

Well here we are again, just wanted to update the site and let everyone know what's new. First off, we've joined with Reckless Promotions so that's going to help us out a lot. We're on a bit of a show break right now because we're all working on recording the rest of our album. We're really looking forward to it and Ryan from The Getaway wants to go in with us, that rocks. We've added a reviews page to the site to have a page with reviews on it. Listen to our songs at www.mp3.com/ascrock. Peace out.

November 17th-

Hey, it's Sunday now, we played a sold out show at the Loft with the Riddlin Kids, Allister, and Don't Look Down 2 nights ago. It was a lot of fun, but we got jipped out of about half our set because the sound guy for the Loft showed up 45 minutes late. On top of that there wasn't enough microphones for all of us, but the crowd support was plain amazing, and all in all the experience was a lot of fun. Then, last night, we played at a Battle of the Bands at the Poughkeepsie YMCA. It was loads of fun and we all had the best time we've ever had. There were 9 awesome bands in it. We'd all like congratulate 1st Strike for winning the battle! We placed 2nd! And we won a gift certificate to Alto Music, so we're probably going to get something new for our PA system with the money. Merch is starting to slim down, and now, due to a few requests, we've posted pictures of the merch and we'll be selling it directly from the site, so you can order it from the Merchandise page. We'll have pictures of both shows up on the site really soon. As for now, ASC is going to reside in Dover, and record the rest of our album. Thanks to everyone who supported us at both shows, well, until next time...

November 3rd-

Hey, our show last night at the Dover High School went pretty well, we played some older material since it was a local show and we had a lot of time to fill up. The Model Citizens did an amazing job and its a shame that its Chris's last show with them. Anyway, we have two shows coming up in November at the Thorne Building with various bands but they may be cancelled because people are trying to close the Thorne Building down, so we hope that doesn't fall through. Come out and support us at our show on Nov. 15th, its at the Loft (a club right above The Chance) in Poughkeepsie, buy tickets off us now for 8 bucks because they're 10 at the door, check out details for the show below. We sold a hell of a lot of merch last night, every dime that we make from merch is going straight towards our recording studio fund so we can finish our album up, we're going back in soon, but buy merch and help us out! Well that about wraps it up for now, see ya later...

October 12th-

Hey Again, We just played Club Crannel last night, we co-headlined with Next II Nothing, it was a really fun show. In December a compilation album from Opening Act Records is going to be released with 2 ASC songs on it, so that outta be cool. We'll have some pictures from Club Crannel up on the site soon. And one more thing, we were nominated to be in the running for band of the month on a website called www.noconnectionsonline.com and we're behind since we just recently got word of this, so do us a favor by clicking here and voting for us! We had to cancel our show at Flip's Ice Cafe and chances are we're re-scheduling to play there in late November.
